Distinct Orbit Live in Studio is a multi-stylistic album recorded in Gas Sound Studios Dublin, Ireland.
It was recorded live in an attempt to capture the raw groove and feel created in live performance and rehearsal. While highly electronic in nature there is a common thread that is retained throughout
the nine-track soundscape adventure.

about us

The band started in 2014 in Dublin when bass player Karol Kosc met drummer Wojtek Lewandowski with the purpose of collaborating together. The project was soon joined by guitarist Ryan Fisher, DJ Mazlik, Keyboard player (initially Michal Szynol) Rafal Wisniewski who spiced up the mix with a different sound and approach to music.

‘The first jam together, with people from different musical backgrounds, brought jaw-dropping results and smiles on our faces’, says Wojtek, ‘we knew instantly that we needed to record it’. As the music progressed, more musicians were engaged in the band, Susie Grotewold (vocal), Monika Lubas (vocal), Simon Lazewski (percussion), Aneta Moran (saxophone), Marek Blaszyk (alto sax), Przemyslaw Lozowski (trumpet).

The first EP was recorded in 2016 and it is unquestionably a difficult-to-categorize one. The band naturally crosses the border between musical styles giving a really interesting sound.
